Q: What is the Millennium Youth Impact Awards. (MYIA)
Ans: A yearly awards event under the auspices of Youth Leadership Parliament to recognize the leadership achievement of Members of Youth Leadership Parliament and the impact of all outstanding Student leaders within Tertiary Institutions, Government, Private Businesses, Philanthropy across the country.
Q: How does one qualify to be nominated?
Ans: The Award board open nominations each for individuals, Corporate and Government agencies to submit names for assessment.
Submitted names for consideration must qualify or meet 3 thematic areas of the award this scheme.

1. VALUE ADDITION:
   The activities or contribution of the nominee must have brought Value Addition to the lives young people.
2. TRANSFORMATION:
   The activities of the individual, Private business or State Institution must have effected total transformation to a person or community.
3. ENABLING ENVIRONMENT:
   The the person, business or State Institution must have invested in a project, programme etc….to create the enabling environment for the growth, development of the youth.
   There are 3 main Categories for nominee considerations:
